Chele Gutek is a writer and director. She wanted a simple site to showcase her stories and short films while at the same time visually conveying her writing style. We used color sparingly so her films would pop as well as dramatic, evocative images for her stories.
We used pop-up lightboxes to display her short films so the work could be easily seen on one page, without having to click to another site to view.
She wanted the focus on her work so we kept her about page short and in line with the feel of the rest of the site.
