Custom Squarespace Website Design
Because let’s face it, you’ve got other things to be doing, like running your business!
Your web presence leaves a huge impression, but not everyone has the time or inclination to create an outstanding website for their business. I’m here to help. I’ll customize a website for you on Squarespace, a modular web platform, and then teach you how to maintain it yourself (although I’d be happy to assist in maintenance as well).
I’ll help you sell your art, products, or yourself with brand consulting and can even provide custom graphics, gifs, photos and videos so you stand out from the flock. I’ll make sure your site looks tantalizing and your products look tempting so you can put your competition out to pasture.
Here’s how it works.
1.
I’ll get an overview of your goals.
We‘ll take a look at your overall business and discuss branding, style, vibe, and messaging. We’ll look at your goals and needs, and what is and isn’t already working if you have a current website.
2.
We’ll define your target market.
We will define what work you want your website to do and take a look at who you’re selling to. Are you selling products? Booking appointments? Using it as a portfolio? Or all of the above?
3.
We’ll discuss design.
We’ll discuss fonts, colors, graphics, logos, photo and video options, what pages you will need, even your personality, so we can come up with a design that perfectly represents you and your business.
4.
I’ll give you a quote.
I’ll think about everything we’ve discussed, do the numbers on how long it will take to create, then supply you with a quote. I’ll answer any questions you have and if you’d like to move forward will accept a deposit to begin the work.
5.
I’ll build the site.
Using the info we’ve talked about, I will build your site. We’ll have a video call to go over it together so you can offer feedback on what’s working and what’s not. I’ll then make any requested tweaks and adjustments so it fits just right.
6.
I’ll educate you.
Once the design portion is done, I’ll walk you through setting up the billing to make your site live and give you a brief tour of the backend. If you’ve decided to maintain your website yourself, I’ll create a cheat sheet for you and go over the basics. But don’t worry, you can hire me hourly should you prefer me to make any changes or updates in the future.
We’ll settle up and you’ll be off and running.
Once we settle up and you pay the remainder of the design fee, I’ll transfer the site ownership to you. You can then either leave me on as an admin should you need help with any maintenance in the future, or take me off altogether.
